The city of Šibenik is a Dalmatian city situated in a bay in which the river Krka flows. The most famous monument in the city, the cathedral of St. Jacob, is inscribed on UNESCO world heritage list. In the vicinity of the town, there are 2 national parks: national park Krka and national park Kornati. Route 2: the first part of this route includes the highway, the second part includes a continental road which leads to Šibenik. It is shorter than the first route (70km) but with regard to driving time, it is approximately the same (55 minutes).
Route 3: this route is the coastal road and it is of the same lenght as the 2nd route, but the driving time is 10 minutes longer (1 hour and 5 minutes). However, it is definitely worth taking because you get to see the beauties of the Adriatic coast.
